The owner of this garden approached us to come up with a design to finish off their new house extension with a large terrace and seating area which would connect to the existing large garden. The emphasis was on wildlife planting with a mix of ornamental grasses providing an overall natural look & feel.
A small outdoor kitchen unit was added at the side. For the terrace we suggested sawn sandstone in a buff beige colour paired with shingle gravel which had been used already for the side of the house. The gravel has a stabilisation grid and is separated from the paved terrace with two steps.
