Modern garden, Walton

The garden was well looked after but lacked structure and balance. The lawn was re-laid, levelled and edged, a gravel bed links the 2 seating areas. A water bowl within the gravel framed by lush planting forms a tranquil focal point.

More planting borders are arranged around the lawn and close to the house, the existing garden shed stayed but is screened off with the same material as the new fence panels. The fence panels have been replaced to achieve a contemporary look. Existing small Acers have been moved into different locations and a specimen Amelanchier shrub adds interest to the new planting design.
