Planting Design, Ashford

This south facing garden was neatly laid out and a mature Copperbeech adds to its charm. The plants in certain areas of the garden were not doing well due to a landscape filled to suppress weeds. Before planting the fleece was taken out, the soil enriched with organic compost to encourage worms and microorganisms back into the soil. The planting design consists of herbaceous perennials, grassed for structure and movement, small shrubs to give interest all year and working with existing plants. The herbaceous border are now the focal point in the garden and add to an extraordinarily, tranquil atmosphere.
