The brief for the design of this garden in Brockham, were a generous seating area close to the house, another terrace further in the garden with a sunny aspect, a formal lawn close to the house with a more informal exciting family garden with lots of wildlife planting further towards the back of the garden.
The borrowed landscape is the slope of Box Hill and therefore the design was kept deliberately open enabling views towards it. A water feature consisting of a natural stream flowing into a small pond with an overhanging deck next to a meadow. The material for the stream has been sourced from Horsham stone.
