Q If you weren’t in the horticulture industry, what would you be doing?
A I would design buildings instead of landscapes.
Q Garden shows/show gardens – inspirational or not?
A There is always something that inspires me, definitely yes!
Q Other than the UK, which country’s landscape inspires you the most?
A Austria’s landscape, I love the alpine flower meadows, the mountains, crystal clear lakes and waterfalls, nature at its best!
Q What would you blow your budget on?
A A natural swimming pool.
Q The one person in the industry you’d love to meet?
A Piet Oudolf
Q One thing that you think would make the industry better?
A A good support network to encourage garden designers and landscapers to collaborate better and gain a better understanding for each other’s strengths.
Q Best piece of trivia you know?
A Chemicals released from freshly-cut grass can be highly effective to relieve stress.
