Front Garden, East Molesey

This north facing front garden of a refurbished 60s house was designed to complement the contemporary, modern exterior of the house.

Contrasting materials on the floor – dark grey clay pavers and white gravel – add to the modern, minimal look. A large planting border softens the view from the road and is filled with structural, small ball shaped shrubs, evergreen and deciduous grasses, Hydrangeas and colourful perennial planting, all arranged around a group of 3 Himalayan Birches.

The parking surface is 20mm gravel on a stabilisation grid system which ensures that the gravel will stay in place. This surface complies completely with SUDS. The bins are housed in a wooden store which is painted in the same dark grey colour as the fence and gate.
