This south facing front garden is designed to complement the modern and contemporary interior of the newly refurbished 30s house. A linear block paver was used for the driveway surface in two different colours of grey. A slot drain takes the surface water away into a soak away under the paving.
The driveway provides parking for up to 3 cars. A feature wall clad with slate tiles hides the bin storage and provides a backdrop for the plants when looking out from inside the house. Planting borders soften the look and are filled with evergreen grasses, hydrangeas and easy to maintain perennials for seasonal colour. Eriobotrya trees line the boundary to the pavement.
